This site is a tribute to Phyl. She is much loved and will always be remembered.

Mum had requested for any donations to go to SCIPS (Special Care Infant Parent Support) at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff (registered charity number 511056). Mum was always keen to support this charity after my first daughter Phoebe was born 11 weeks early in 1999 – she was cared for in the neonatal intensive care unit at UHW for 15 days before she sadly passed away.  SCIPS was set up to help and support parents with babies in the special care unit – they fund such things as furnishings in the accommodation unit (literally next door to NICU so parents can be close by), bereavement packs and keepsake boxes. SCIPS also contributes to the Annual Remembrance Service for Loved and Lost Babies which, as a family, we still attend every Christmas 25 years on 😊.
 
Mum also supported the neonatal unit in other ways and, over the years, had knitted over 1,000 baby bonnets for the NICU units in Cardiff and Southmead!
